Another Year of Incarnating
Time for Spiritual Renewal
Echoing in my soul is the word “Incarnation!”
The theme for the Inner Christmas Messages is “12 Illuminations of Incarnation.”
I will begin the Inner Christmas Messages on Christmas Eve by sharing imaginations of the mysteries of incarnation. So right now, I am swimming in questions about incarnation.
Do you have questions about incarnation? It’s not simple. We will be spending the Holy Nights contemplating incarnation from 12 sacred and intimate points of view.
Now’s the time to enroll in the Inner Christmas Messages. Click here.
We speak about being born. I just had my 78th birthday. What happens if we speak about incarnation? I have spent 78 years incarnating. Can we celebrate another year of incarnating?
A birthday is a fact and a number. An incarnation is evolving meaning, mystery, and purpose.
Perhaps the Holy Nights are the incarnation check-in and tune-up. We meet the Spiritual Beings at the Threshold to find inspiration for another year of incarnating.
22 Years Ago Today
It’s 22 years ago today that I stood in front of the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center in Manhattan, delighting in the crazy elements of Christmas as a material event and despairing at the lack of spiritual awareness. When I got home, I decided to send an email about the Holy Nights to everyone on my list and said I would send a daily reminder.
Then I received the inner message that the emails were not reminders but to be twelve points of view, twelve messages for contemplation on a theme for the Threshold.
Every year, I’ve been anxious, anticipating the messages. This is a very humbling deed.
So my Christmas focus is not on presents, it’s on presence. Will I have the incarnated and incarnating presence to guide others to the Threshold during the Holy Nights?
Here are notes from two friends who have worked with the Inner Christmas Messages for many years. (Both Judy and Shannon found their way to the Inner Christmas Messages and then reached out to me for sacred conversations, and now they are my dear friends!)
From Judith Frizlen
Looking forward to the messages of the Holy Nights. It is like opening a gift on every one of the 12 days, a gift I look forward to receiving, during a time when I have space to integrate its message and meaning. It is not only an intellectual concept - it lands in my heart and integrates into my lived experience. One of my favorite holiday rituals - a gift that becomes a part of me! Thanks, Lynn

From Shannon Boyce
During this time, a trusted mentor and spiritual friend of mine, Lynn Jericho, offers Inner Christmas messages — short, daily reflections shared across all twelve Holy Nights.
Each day brings a quiet message for listening and inward orientation.
And every three days, those who wish are invited to gather on Zoom for a simple community conversation — a place to share what’s stirring, to listen together, and to remember that this kind of inner work doesn’t have to be done alone.
I’m sharing Lynn’s work simply because I trust it, and because this season matters.
Please visit Shannon’s Advent message and explore her website. Shannon brings the wisdom of the human voice and guides her students to the glory of their soul’s gift of song.
