Inner Easter Promises
Chocolate-covered Consciousness in Our Dark Times
I remember one Easter, I was ten years old. My grandfather got me a giant chocolate Easter Egg with a whole scene of nature in it. My webinar (tomorrow and again on Sunday) is a giant new consciousness covered with the sweetness of sacred understanding. I promise.
I hope you are still contemplating registering for “Making Sense of Inner Easter”.
Our Dark Times
Our times are so dark, so threatening, and so without morality, it’s hard to think or feel about fasting, vanquishing, or surrendering or anything about Holy Week.
About six weeks ago, my living Lent/Easter questions dialed in on our times and these three Christ-deeds. You know me, as always, I dove deep. I spent about an hour or more each day, often in the middle of the night, circling these deeds, building as many perspectives as I could. Spiritual beings kept surprising me with chocolate-covered “downloads” of new insights.
I want to share them with you.
Christ as the Model
I look at Christ as the model for the divine incarnating into human consciousness, so most of my perspectives come from the need to make sense of why and what capacity is living in this deed or these words that reveal the meaning and purpose being human. And then how does this show up in my life and the lives of others?
I know you are probably struggling with time, energy, and focus. You probably just want a really sweet chocolate bunny this Easter to help you forget the impossible times we are living in.
Promises
So I thought I would make you some promises.
Fasting
Vanquishing
Surrendering
Are these words scary? Do they make you uncomfortable? Do these thoughts swirl through your head: A sinner? A victim? Death? Pointless? Demanding? No way?
If you can overcome your stress and despair:
I promise a breath of fresh Spring air.
I promise an understanding that will make your soul relax.
I promise three lights to chase away the darkness.
I promise ways to see these deeds in your own daily life and your personal history.
I promise the feeling of wise joy if you open up to the intimacy of the cosmic design of Inner Easter.
I promise a powerful, encouraging example of making sense of selfhood, of spirit, and of incarnational success.
Without a personal experience and understanding of fasting, vanquishing, and surrendering, there is no Christ-consciousness. (Wow! How do I have the courage to write that! Yet, I know it is true.)
You will be surprised at the sense it all makes. I am not giving answers or commandments. I am suggesting points of view that will surprise, enliven, nurture, and cultivate a deeper Inner Easter for your soul.
Please register for either. I hope I see you tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25 at Noon Eastern. Or on Palm Sunday, March 29th at 3PM Eastern.
If you can’t be on the Zoom call, the webinar will be recorded and sent to everyone who registers.
I am suggesting a donation of $36, but any amount between $12 and what makes your soul smile is wonderful. (And if our times have impacted your wealth in such a way that you can’t afford anything, let me know lynnjericho@gmail.com)
Living Questions, Making Sense, Wise Joy
Living questions have no answers. They are always alive, seeking another point of view. Living questions are free from Ahriman and Lucifer, who only want to seduce us with answers. Answers are a death that holds no possibility of resurrection.
It takes at least twelve points of view to get anywhere near the truth, according to Rudolf Steiner. Making sense is the sacred art of multiple points of view. Christ needed twelve disciples, do we wonder why?
Wise Joy is not about being pain-free. Wise Joy is the freedom to crystallize all types of suffering. It is the alchemy of a courageous soul to take a painful, dark experience, look at it from many perspectives until its meaning and purpose start shining with many new lights. Wise Joy is not a belief. It is a moment of clarity, equanimity, and sovereignty.
And don’t worry about spiritual perfection. Human beings are designed to be imperfect. If we were perfect, we wouldn’t be capable of living questions or multiple points of view, or wise joy.
I hope I see you tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25 at Noon Eastern. Or on Palm Sunday, March 29th at 3PM Eastern.
